Das Siebenstern- breakfasting in Wien Neubau

Vienna is very famous for its Cafés. I mean nearly the entire world knows the names Sacher or Demel, but what these Cafés are related to the classic Vienna, the Siebenstern is to the modern one. The Café is located in the middle of “Neubau”, which is the trend district of our city. In front of it there is a big place, where they build a pub garden in the summer. The restaurant is kind of big, but feels very cosy and through the big windows, you firstly have a good view at the street and secondly a lot of day light is coming in through them. I have been there for breakfast and ordered a breakfast menu, consisting of scrambled eggs, which were made with Austrian cheese and are something you don’t want to miss. In addition, they serve a small cup of homemade granola with yoghurt and a fruit sauce. And for the daily dose of vitamins, you get a caramelized grapefruit. Instead of coffee, we could choose between three kinds of buttermilk, but we still added coffee, which wasn’t a bad choice. If you want to go there for a weekend brunch you have to book a table, to be on the safe side.
